Looking for something to do with the family this weekend? Well, check out the 21st annual Ann Arbor Blooms Day this Saturday the 16th. Some of you may recall this event as the "Downtown Cleanup Day", but Ann Arbor Blooms Day has a much nicer ring to it. In a nutshell-volunteers are needed to to help plant flowers in the downtown area from 9 a.m. to noon. This great community event is open to individuals, families, youth and business groups. For your efforts you get pizza for lunch and a cool t-shirt! If this sounds like you-show up at Liberty Plaza (on you guessed it) Liberty Street and South Division. Free parking is available for volunteers at the library parking lot. So there you go, free parking, pizza and a t-shirt!
